Internships

UrbanPromise Honduras offers internships all year round to young adults who desire to work with children and youth, want to experience life in a different culture and are willing to be challenged and stretched to becoming a stronger person.

Academic Year Internships run from February to November in accordance with the school calendar of the Southern Hemisphere. Interns will work with our staff team working with children and teenagers in an afterschool program for six to nine months. This is ideal for Latin Americans, New Zealanders and Australians, as well as people wanting to take a year off.

Summer Internships run twice during the year, once in January and once in July/August for four to six weeks. Interns will be involved in leading and running a high energy, exciting, fun-filled summer camp for children along with our staff and highschool leaders. This is ideal for students who want to travel and make a difference during their summer or J-term.
